Information of interest:

Dear Jim,
Sam Tingle residing in Zimbabwe has a mountain of information on both the Repco Brabham driven by Denny Hulme in 1967 then by Jochen Rindt 1968 SA Grand Prix followed by Sam Tingle who raced the South African Formula 1 series right up to January 1970 which included the 1969 South African Grand Prix when the car finished 7th. The car is still owned by Sam Tingle and resides in the Donnington Car museum. It must be one of the few car engine combinations to compete over 3 years competitive Formula one. The LDS Repco which competed in the 1968 Grand Prix resides proud of place in Sam Tingles bar at his house surrounded with South African motor racing history from 1947 to 1970.
Unfortunately Sam Tingle is not yet accessible on the Internet in Zimbabwe but I could give you any information required on these cars or other Repco Brabhams driven in the South African series of that great era.

Another from South Africa.

Re - bt24 championship winning car in 67
Driven by Denny Hulme. Sam Tingle has contacted me in connection with this car and that you might require further information on this chassis please e mail me at epinto@iafrica.com. I was the mechanic of this car from 1968 to 1970 were it was demolished in CAPE TOWN. It took me four years to rebuild it in my spare time it was then placed in the Rembrandt Museum till 1989. I then brought it back to Cape Town and it took one year to completely rebuild once again and was then sent to England to Donnington museum were it lives today in immaculate conndition and is a runner.
my best regards Eduardo Manuel Da Silva Pinto

Perhaps someone can help?

Dear Jim,
We are interested in any information on Ron Tauranac and his career.
The local primary school - Fassifern Public School, Fassifern NSW 2283 is celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year. Ron was a former pupil of the school in the 1930's. The only things we can find are a few mentions in Repco-Brabham pages on the net.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time,
Greg Trotter

Some Bits?

Jim,
I don't know if you can help me? I own a Brabham BT21C, but I need a new frame. Is there anyone out there that is remaking BT21 frames?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
